Frankie and Tyler lost their mother and father when she was 4 and he just turned one. They don’t really remember them, so it doesn’t affect them horribly. They were given into their grandmother’s custody after a long year in court, contemplating on leaving them with their abusive and drunken Uncle Joe or their sweet and loving grandmother, Peggy.
Frankie and Tyler had lived with their grandmother, their father’s mother, ever since then. She is like their mother, and they would never trade her for anything. But it has made Frankie and Tyler very guarded, and they don’t easily trust or let anyone in.
