Caleb had blacked out. He had run into something, he had no idea what, and passed out from fright? He didn't know. So here he was, alone, in an unfamiliar place. Did I mention he was alone? Caleb didn't exactly do well when he was alone. He had mental breakdowns and panic attacks...it wasn't pretty. So when Caleb awoke and he found out he was alone, he almost died. Not really, but you get the picture.

Caleb sat up, grabbing his iPod and listening to The Final Episode by Asking Alexandria and turning it up as far as it would go. The noise helped him think about anything but the loneliness. As he walked alone he realized how desolate this place was and how alone he must be. He looked for any sign of life, even an animal. When he spotted one, he nearly had a heart attack. He ran over to the lion, a very oddly colored one, and nearly tackle-hugged it. He then realized it was crying. What an odd gesture for a lion. He thought.

Light was shocked to find life as some strange boy attacked him. He quickly dried up his tears for he remembered he had been crying. "Great some stranger just saw me crying, hopefully he won't say anything." He layed there looking up at the boy, he noticed the head phones and realized thats where the strange noise was coming from, he was listening to music. He couldn't make out the song but he stood up and stood by the boy. He needed to talk to him but he didn't want to scare him by saying something. "Oh well he'll learn all animals in this land can talk."

Uhm hi there, the name is Light. Are you lost?" He asked the boy. He was always proper and introduced himself first, it was the right thing to do after all. He hated that about himself, for being a demon he wasn't very demon-like. Guess thats why he was called Light was because of his kindness.

"Um hellooo. My name is Caleb!" Caleb said energetically after turning his music down and taking the headphones. He was shocked that animals could talk but it didn't bother cos he now had someone to talk to. "Can all animals talk here?" He asked. He wondered, cos if they could he would definitely come here more often. He stood up, biting his lower lip gently. "So, Light, thats a cool name by the way, do you live here or some where else. Cos I don't care, you could live in the ocean for all I care. Sorry, I must be babbling. I do that when I'm nervous. Why would I be nervous? Who knows? Ahh." Caleb sighed, looking down. He bit his lower lip. His icey blue eyes(? I can't remember the color of his eyes xD) filled up with tears because this lion would probably run away laughing at him. Caleb always got this nervous around people he didn't know.

Light laughed, this boy was really cute. He loved how he was nervous and biting his lip. He figured it would be easier if he was in human form. "Yes all animals here do talk but I'm not an ordinary animal" he told Caleb. He transformed into his human form and wiped away Caleb's tears. "Yes I live here as well, do you have anywhere to stay?" he was wondering if the boy had a place to stay, he looked totally lost. He felt bad for Caleb, he could tell he was lost, and he knew how that felt. Light was pretty new here as well, only been here for a year and all but he knew the land pretty well now.

Caleb blushed as Light transformed into a boy and wiped away his tears. He bit his lower lip, fighting a smile. This boy was cute. He hoped it wouldn't be awkward considering Caleb was gay and all. He wondered if this boy was gay too. He sighed, thinking about it, spacing out. He was then brought back down to earth when Light asked him if he had anywhere to stay. "Um, no. I don't. I don't even know how I got here. Where is here anyways?" Caleb asked, looking around. All he saw was desolate and dry land, and the occasional tumbleweed.

Light noticed that Caleb seemed to space out for a moment, he wondered what he could be thinking bout. He looked at the boy and noticed he was blushing. He made a mental notice of that and figured this would be the awkward part now, inviting him to stay.

"Well this is the pridelands, home to the savannah animals such as lions, and hippos, and hyenas. That sort of thing." He smiled at his knowledge of the place, being he had only been here for a year. "And well, if you dont have a place to stay, you should come stay with me. I live alone, so it would be nice to have some company." He knew this would be awkward now, he could tell the boy liked him a little and strangely he had butterflies in his stomach as well.

"Oh, um, okay. That sounds....nice." Caleb nodded, smiling. He shoved his hands in the pocket of his girl skinny jeans, rocking back and forth on his heels. He noticed his music was still playing the background, and it was Dreams by We Came As Romans. He smiled lightly, humming along to it. It was one of the only songs he liked by them. The others were too...weird. Caleb smiled to himself, running a hand through his black hair, pushing it out from in front of his eyes. This made his eyes visible. Because his eyes were such a brilliant blue color, it was usually captivating to whoever he was talking to. They were one of his best qualities. "So, lead the way, Light." He made a gesture with his hand, pointing infront of him.

Light couldn't help but look at Caleb, he was so.. yum. Wow did he really just say that, about another boy? Hell yeah he did and he didn't care right now. This boy, so skinny, so good looking, he liked him and when the boy showed off his very brilliant blue eyes he couldn't help but stare into him. He wanted to just stand there and stare into his eyes all day but he heard Caleb speak and snapped out of it.

"Oh yes of course, I shall uhm lead the way indeed." He turned into the lion and looked at Caleb, "Actually it would be a lot easier, and a lot quicker if you just hopped on my back. I can show you around the land, and then we can go back to my place. Sound like a good idea?" he asked Caleb. He smiled to his self because he was trying to use this as an opportunity to get to know Caleb better. He hoped his plan would work.

Caleb bit his lower lip, taking in this boys looks. The beautiful body and amazing scarlet hair, with those gorgeous eyes. Yummy. He wanted to just stand there and stare at those amazing long legs, but was pulled from his reverie when Light asked a question. "Um, okay." Caleb nodded. He didn't exactly know if this boy wanted him to get on his back in his human form or when he was a lion, so he just waited. He was very oblivious to these types of things.

Light stood there in lion form, and looked at Caleb. He realized he hadnt been very specific on his instructions so he walked over to Caleb. He walked around him a few times, lightly brushing against him a few times then laid at his feet. "Here, as a lion, climb onto my back. Hold onto my mane, it wnt hurt me or anything, and I'll show you around." He smiled for he noticed the boy was biting his lip again. He was amazed at how such a dark, good looking boy could be so shy and timid. It amused him and he giggled in his mind.
