Demetric Dragon Kuri wasn't expecting the day to go like it was. When he woke up this morning he thought it was just going to be a normal, boring day just like all the others. Well boy was he wrong. He woke up and was yelled at to pack his bags, he was off to training camp. Sure he knew he was always unique, always had quick agility, could think better then normal people, and seemed.. different but when he was told he was going to a camp for people like him he was a bit confused.
People like himself? he didn't quite understand that for he didn't know what he was. He didn't exactly had time to talk to his mom in the short distant from his house to the camp, but his mom was very silent. She dropped him off at this tree, told her she wished she could come but she wasn't allowed, then disappeared into a cloud of smoke coming from the car's exhaust. "well might as well walk down and find out what's going on.

Kaylie April Treco was called down to the camp office. She was told that the head leader wanted to talk to her about something. She was hoping it had nothing to do with the fight that happened the other night while she was sword training. Some girl came in, interuppted her, and told her to leave it was HER training ground. Well Kaylie couldn't stand those kind of people and eneded up punching her square between the eyes and knocking her out. She didn't stay to train and told someone to get the girl and check her nose to make sure it wasn't broken.
She walked into the office and the head leader, Arlondo, called her over. He told her that a new trainee was going to be coming to camp and he wanted her to take him in, show him around, and help in train. She wasn't too happy about having to train somebody else but she figured it would help sharpen her own skills so she agreed to it. She walked out and there stood the boy at the top of the hill as a car drove off.

Demetric looked down the hill and saw a girl walk out of what looked to be the camp building. He couldn't see her very well so he figured he'd walk down the hill and go investigate. He started walking down the hill then something trippe dhim and he started to roll down the hill. He could feel rockes and twigs stabbing him in the back but it didn't really hurt. He stopped rolling once he reached the bottom. He grabbed his head to try to make his head stop spinning and looked up to see the pretty girl staring down at him. He felt his face light up red, he couldn't believe how big of a fool he must look right now.
He stood up, brushed himself off and looked at the girl. "Uhm sorry bout that, I kind of lost my footing and fell down the hill. Probably looks like a bad impression but the name's Demetric Kuri." He held out his hand, hoping she would shake it as a greeting and wouldn't think too badly of him right off the bat.

Kaylie saw before he did that the protector of the camp, a dragon, had put his tail infront of him causing him to trip. He rolled down the hill and landed at her feet. She wasn't very amused, by either of them and just rolled her eyes as she gave the dragon a dirty look. He noticed that the boy's face was red, she figured he had to feel like a bumbling fool after just rolling down a hill infront of a girl. She noticed that she had that effect on a lot of guys, but she didn't care, she wasn't interested in guys she only cared about herself, training, and getting better. She had a goal in mind, and that was becoming the best and getting revenge for her mother. She cursed her father everyday for taking her mother's life. But she'd think about that later and worry about the boy infront of her.
His name was Demetric, she knew that but she figured he'd want to introduce himself. She ignored his handshake and turned around to start walking towards the camp. "The name's Kaylie, Kaylie Treco. Remember that name cause one day I'm going to make history." she told him. "Now hurry up and I'll show you around the camp. She showed him the camp house, the training grounds, the woods where they trained and grew their own meds, and other things, and lastly she went to the camp houses. This is when and where she had to tell him what he was. "Alright, you're probably wondering why your here right? Well your half demon, like the rest of us here."

Demetric's mouth seemed to drop to the floor. Kaylie just told him he was half demon. He couldn't believe what he was being told, no it wasn't possible he told himself. He thought back to his mom, and realized that his mom never really told him much about his father, he figured he was where the half demon part of him came from. But who would have guessed that demons really existed, and that he was half one. He wanted to ask so many questions, but things were starting to piece together in his head. It explained his extra speed and strength he had, it explained the weird things he would hear and see. It was all starting to make perfect sense now. He just wanted to know more about being half demon and if that was why when he was mad bad things would happen.
He remembered a time when he got mad and almost killed some kid by beating him up so badly, and he couldn't stop. "Kaylie, being half demon, does it make our anger worse? Because I remember a time I almost killed someone and couldn't stop hitting him and I didn't feel that mad." He could remember that day almost perfectly. Oh that was another thing, he noticed he had pretty good memory as well. But anyhow some kid had walked up to him and had been running his mouth about him. He said something to his face and Demetric lost it. His vision went red and he just kept hitting the kid over and over again until he accidently hit a girl that was trying to stop him. He was extremely upset and ended up running out the school, never went back. He wished he could have atleast appologized to the girl, but it was too late now.

Kaylie noticed that he seemed extremely surprised to hear the news he had just been told. She knew her whole life who she was but she knew that not everyone in the camp knew who they were before they came. It was always funny to see the look on the people's faces whenever they were told that they were a demon. No one ever thought that demons existed, thought they were just religious stories, but boy were they wrong. She remembered Dante, and started missing him. He came to the camo a year before Kaylie, he was the one that found her and brought her to the camp. He was the best fighter she had ever met, and he trained her. Everyone was jealous and it caused Kaylie to be a major loner in the camp but friends weren't her thing. Revenge was. She thought about the day Dante left to fight, and he never came back. She almost wanted to cry but then looked away and focused back on helping Demetric.
She noticed his face went blank unexpectedly and she figured he was thinking just as she was. She let him think for the moment since they had time, sure dinner was going to be soon but he needed to show her the cabins. "I'll show you to your cabin. There are a few kinds of cabins. Cabins meant for animal demons, cabins meant for elemental demons, fighting demons, magic demons, and so on. Your cabin is the unknown cabin since we aren't too sure what kind of demon you are yet." She showed him to the cabin, told him dinner was in the pavillion by the main building, and to come up when he's ready, then she let him be.

Demtric couldn't believe how many different kinds of demons there was. He was even more shocked when he looked around the valley and saw dozens of cabins. Each cabin was for a different kind of demon. He was just so stunned at how little he knew about his own kind. He never believed demons or anything like that existed, thought they were some religious crap. He wasn't very religious so he didn't listen much when he was forced to go to church with his grandparents. Kaylie had told him to go to his cabin, which was the largest. The Unknown Cabin as it was called since they didn't know what kind of demon he was He walked in and there was kids and teens everywhere. There had to of been 30 maybe even 40 that were crammed inside of this cabin. He looked around for an empty bed and found one in the corner. He walked through the chaos of the other kids and sat his stuff down. He put his bags under the bed since there was no cabinets or dressers that he could see. He heard a bell go off and someone calling dinner as all the kids started to rush out the cabin. He followed everyone to the pavillion and sat at the table waiting.
He looked around and could tell the many kinds of demons. He saw demons with fox tails, wolf ears, and many different things. HE was even more speechless then before. Then he was a bunch of people and saw Kaylie in the middle. She was talking to a bunch of her friends smiling until she looked up and saw him. She looked away like he didn't even exist and went back to talking. What looked to be the leader or something started calling tables telling them to get food. Table by table people went up. His table was last and he went up getting some of the food that was left. He wanted to ask more questions but figured he would wait until later, when he was with Kaylie. So he sat there and ate in silence.

Kaylie looked around the pavillion and wondered where she was going to sit tonight. Being almost second in command here in the camp she didn't have a specific table or area she had to sit at. She deicded she would sit with the fire demons today. She sat down and started talking with everyone as their table was called up to get food. She got some meat and the good stuff then sat down. The rest of the tables were called up to get there food and then everyone was allowed to eat. She looked up for a slpit second and saw Demtric looking at her. She looked away immediatly and pretended she didn't see him. Its not that she didn't like him or she hated him, it was the fact she could sense he was the "Im all that and a bag of chips" type guy. She could tell he must have been popular and got what he wanted. She hated guys like that, they always seemed to get in the way of her training and was trying to impress her with their false moves. Seeing that she was stuck with him as her trainee she was hoping he could break that habbit with him and show him who the real warrior was around here.
She started to think maybe those thoughts were a little cruel, judging someone before she got the chance to know them. But thats how she had been since Dante had found her, she had very little trust towards people and was so critical. She knew she needed to change, Dante always told her that but she just couldn't. She sat there, food half gone, and stopped eating. She had lost her appetite. She noticed that Demetric was sitting all alone so she figured she would go sit with him. She threw her food away, walked over to his table, and sat down by him not caring what all the other kids were saying or thinking.

Hiroko Kana Shimizu was minding his own business...mostly...as he ate a rare steak, sitting at the Tele-Demon table. It was where demons, like himself, that could control the darkness, could bring nightmares to life, had telepathy, telekinesis and could read thoughts and the like were assigned to sit. What he saw left him both confused and slightly disturbed. He saw Kaylie walking over to the new guy to sit with him. He didn't mean to sound like a dick when he said this, but: Kaylie was, sometimes, bitchy and seemed to think that she was to good to be here. Well, obviously, if she were that great a demon she'd be out of here by now. He means, she'd been there for at least as long as he and his siblings had been. He'd watched her train before, but who hasn't, and she was pretty good at her thing, but whatever. She just didn't strike him as the let's-be-friends kind of person.
The next thing that caught his attention was how cute the new guy was. He didn't say this about many of the guys here, but: Daaaaaaaamn, was this boy fine. However, this adorable newbie didn't seem to have much confidence in him right now. Well, Hiroto was sure that, on the first day he was here, he and his siblings looked even more scared than a kitten in a dog park.

Demetric was completely and utterly confused as he watched Kaylie walk towards him. He was scared he had done something wrong for she didn't seem to happy. She sat down beside me and was talking to the other kids around them at first. She looked around the pavilion a few times and he started to do the same, he noticed that song boy was staring over at them when Kaylie walked over. He had to admit he was pretty good looking, but then again a lot of the demon kids here were pretty good looking. He nudged Kaylie and she stopped talking for a minute. He asked who the boy was that was staring over at them and she said his name was Hiroko Shimizu. He liked the name, he rolled it through his mind a few times and made a mental note to go see who he was later on.
When dinner was finally over everyone was told to go meet bu the edge of the woods, tonight was game night. Game night? Demetric was utterly confused but did as everyone else was doing and walked over to the edge of the woods. Everyone was seperated into their demon cabins and the rules were announced. It was a treasure hunt game. Each cabin was going to be sent out to look for the "hidden treasure." They had exactly two hours to find it, first team to find it and reach their safe zone was declared the victor. He thought it sounded pretty fun, though he didn't see the chalange in it. Kaylie was no longer around so he couldn't ask anyone for more details, but he figured he would quickly learn the basics of the game.
