"Uhm, I really just enjoy spending time with you, I'm doing what I wanted to, I have been drawing you all day. do...do you want to see?" She was always nervous of showing her brother the drawings of him, the perfectionist side to her made her think that they weren't good enough. She nervously handed Satoshi the sketches looking away.
"Well sure, we can then, we can head off to the other side of town because knowing your sis she will look out for you and take him back to the house. She's really wonderful, honestly." He takes her hand and they head down the hill under the moonlight.

"Sure, lemme see." Satoshi knew she knows that he didn't like her drawing him, but that wasn't because he didn't want her to use her skills to draw him. He didn't feel worthy of being the focus of her talent. He had such conflicting feelings towards Pandora. He loved her, but didn't know in what way for sure. He felt like he wasn't allowed to love her in the way he wanted. He knew why he felt this way, but the girls could never know. He looked over her drawings and could see her looking away as though she was nervous that he would reprimand her for drawing him. "These are lovely, Panda. I know I told you I don't like you drawing me, but I'm glad that you do anyways. You draw me in a way that I don't see myself." He smiled at her brightly.
"Awesome, I felt a little confined on this hilltop." Kaminari smiled as Hayner led her by the hand. She wondered where in town they'd go next.

"Really? I...Satoshi..thank you." She took her drawings and put them back turning away blushing. Why did she feel this way? what was this? Why was he acting this way? She didn't understand at all. She kept walking and they reached the restaurant getting a table.
Hayner pulls out his skate board "Do you want to skate around a while? find a cool spot and make out? or are you scared?" He teased, after a moment pf silence he spoke up "I was just kiddin babe.."

Satoshi asked for a table by the window, just to keep an eye out for Kaminari. Who knew what she was up to, he was trying not to focus on her too much today though. He didn't give her a curfew tonight, how could he when Pandora and himself would be out late anyways? The restaurant had a nice candlelit ambiance at this time during the day. It was right around happy hour, so he got a twilight thorn drink. "Pick whatever you want for dinner, Panda. Dinner is on me." He smiled at Pandora genuinely, he didn't want her getting something cheap on her special day just because he was paying for it.
"Of course, I'll skate around a while." Kaminari paused hearing Hayner get nervous about his joke. "Trust me, honey, I'm not afraid to find a place to hide and make out." She smiled at him devilishly and gave him a cute little wink.

"But..I...well at least let me tip.." Pandora didn't very much like being pampered, but how could she refuse Satoshi? She owed him so much.
With widened eyes he heads off down the hill "Last one to the Underground Concourse is a melted ses salt pop!"

"Alright, then." Satoshi said happily as he began to look over the menu before deciding what he wanted and ordering it. He could at least let her pay the tip. He knew that she felt undeserving of all this, it was hard for her to accept all the things she'd been given all together. He couldn't have just left her in Hallow Bastion so many years ago when she was in a bad place in her life. He'd taken care of her since, making sure that she had everything she ever needed. He knew she didn't want anything else in the world, than the affection of her family, but he wanted something else for her.
"Oh, you are so on!" Kaminari tossed her board onto the ground and jumped on gaining speed on her boyfriend who began the descent of the hill sooner than she did. She at least wanted to catch up with him, even if they tied by the time they raced there. She was so not about being a melted ice cream bar.

"Satoshi...you......never mind, uhm I just I really couldn't thank you enough.." How could she bring this up? How does one try to talk to someone who rescued her many years ago and twice, for that matter?
As he skated he laughed and they both reached the bottom at roughly the same time, but it wasn't close enough for Hayner "Ha I win! In your face babe!" He laughed taking her into his arms "It's okay, you're still the most beautiful of all the melted popsicles, and you're mine." He hasn't felt this kind of happiness before, he could be himself around her and that was one of the many things he enjoyed about Kaminari

"Trust me, Panda. You've thanked me enough over the years for what seems like a whole lifetime." Satoshi smiled at her. How was he ever going to bring up his feelings. He knew she was already pretty anxious all the time. What would she do, if he decided to bring anything up at all. "Is there anything you needed to tell me, you've been seeming to struggle for words today." He wondered to her aloud.
"No way, it was totally a tie!" She laughed getting off of her board and setting it against one of the tunnel walls. She stayed in his arms, it was the first time she felt safe without her brother being up her ass about being safe. "I guess we could be gross melted popsicles together." She stuck her tongue out at him teasingly. She listened a little longer. "And you're mine, don't you forget that." She said sweetly before giving him a gentle kiss on the forehead.

"uhm well...I....Satoshi...I-it's nothing" She feels the need to ask why he has been acting so strange but her anxiety gets the best of her as always. Oh how does she despise it. Well not anymore tonight she is going to ask him. She sips her water then looks to him "Satoshi you have been acting very very strange. Please tell me. Why? Is it about my past, what do you feel? please...I...I want to know."
Hayner smiled brightly before kissing her. He loved her kisses even though he had only experienced it once he really loved being around her and expressing how he felt.

"It's simple, Panda. Today is the anniversary of the say Mina and I found you in Hallow Bastion. When we took you in. I figured it deserved celebrating. It has been six years after all." Satoshi explained to her. He wasn't about to tell her his other reasons for acting strange. Not until they were out of public. He'd have to wait until they were home for that.
Kaminari kissed him back feeling all giddy and like she had a stomach full of butterflies. She enjoyed knowing that being around each other gave them the same kind of feelings. "I'm so happy to finally be making some life progress without my brother being down my throat. I'm making life progress with you." She smiled at him, almost grateful. "And that's amazing to me."

"Satoshi..." She bows her head "Never mind it Satoshi, I really feel like I owe you both so much you didn't have to, yet you did." Masking her confusion wasn't very easy, but she tried and eventually changed the subject and she finished her meal of simple Meatloaf Mashed potatoes, and a side of sweetened carrots. She tipped the waitress a little over the standard percentage.
"I'm willing to move at the pace that you are, you are very adventurous and I like that about you." Hayner said smiling

"Well, Mina and I are both very loving. Plus, we both know what it's like to be orphaned. She doesn't know as much because she never really knew our parents. I did though, and it hurts to know that they can just leave their children, their flesh and blood like that. I couldn't leave another sweet looking orphan girl on the street just because I didn't have to. I didn't do it for thanks or even for love, I did it because I knew it was the right thing to do and I'm glad I did it." Satoshi explained to her as she finished her meatloaf. She ate a little slower than he did, but he knew that was because of her acute anorexia.
"Good." She smiled as she paused a moment to think. "'Cause I'm ready to go on so many adventures. I won't have to go on my own either." She gave him another small kiss on the cheek.
"Oh ho ho, what do we have here?" Mina heard a familiar voice come through the tunnelway. It was Seifer again. One time was already way too many times to deal with him in a day, but twice. Geez, that was just ridiculous. "Two loser lovers! You guys always act like you hate each other, so what the hell is this? Whose being tricked? You, me, or her?" Seifer shouted as he walked closer to the two of them.
"Just get the hell out of here, Seifer. I'm really not in the mood to deal with an imbecile twice in one day. The same imbecile, no less." She rolled her eyes and had venom in her witticism. She hated dealing with this guy, he thought he was all high and mighty, like he was in charge of the place. He sure as hell wasn't in charge of her though.

Blushing a little she looked down "I'm really glad you did too actually." Was she blushing? What is this? How does she deal with all of this, with her head spinning she took one of her emotion balancing medications. Yet another rock falling into the pit of her stomach.
"Lay off Seifer, I really don't want to do this. You ruin everything that I try to enjoy."

"Good, you ready to get out of here and head home?" Satoshi smiled as he asked her. He was nearing his chance to see if his feelings were worth anything in reality.
"Aww, blondie doesn't want to actually fight. He just wants to play fight with his little bitch." Seifer mocked Hayner and in doing so insulted Kaminari.
"Oh, my god, Seifer. You chauvinist bastard. Could you just shut you damn mouth for ten minutes? You need to learn how to stop giving everyone else a hard time and learn how to make yourself happy, instead of trying to ruin everyone else's happiness. Now, get the hell out of my face before I kick your ass and believe me, I'll do way more than bite this time." Kaminari yelled back at him as he walked closer to her.
Seifer slapped Kaminari across the mouth hard enough to make her lose her grounding and cause her to move a few steps. "You should really learn how to shut your bitch's mouth before someone shuts it for her, like I just did." He was up in Hayner's face now.

"Absolutely, Satoshi. I'm willing to go anywhere with you." It was as soon as the words escaped her lips that she realized she had messed up. Maybe he would take it in such a way that it didn't even mean anything at all. They stood up and left the Restaurant after paying the bill, walking the lone streets in the moonlight.
Hayner grabs him, by the throat slamming him into a set of boxes he kicks him in the ribs while he is down "If you ever, EVER touch my girlfriend again I will no hesitate to make you fully unconscious if not kill you. You think I'm afraid of you, but I'm not. you're garbage and I will not put up with you abusive and ignorant ways. it's in your best interest to stay. the. hell. down." His words pierce through Seifer like a knife as he assists Kaminari to her feet taking her away from where Seifer could find them again. He holds her cheek where she was slapped. "Darling, my angel, please I beg of you tell me that you're alright?" He asks inspecting the reddened skin.
