"Just long enough to ask you how you did today. If you felt alright, strong enough to get through all the day's activities. You know I worry about you, gotta make sure my sister is okay." Kaminari responded already having gotten ready for bed, brushing her teeth and pulling her own hair up in a messy bun before her sister even got upstairs. She was already in her own bed, under her covers, but still in her day clothes, she knew it'd be easier to sneak out unnoticed if she didn't have to change beforehand. "Also, while I'm still awake, how did you enjoy your first trip to the beach?" She asked putting forth a bit of a drowsy sound to her voice. She had to convince her sister that she was to fall asleep soon, so that she'd head to bed as well. It wouldn't do her any good if her sister was still awake when she tried to sneak out shortly.

Pandora grabs her journal as she tucks into bed and begins to write about how she felt throughout the day. "It was fun it was really beautiful, want to see my painting?" she pulls it out handing it to her sister. It depicts the setting sun, Hayner and Mina standing with their surfboards in the sand staring at the sky, Olette and Pence's silhouettes are splashing water into the air then in next to the umbrella and towels in the foreground, is an empty easel. that was her signature, she never included herself in any painting she made.
"So I was thinking..about my purpose again..I know that you don't want to listen, so I'll keep it short. Do you think Satoshi loves me out of some sort of forced affection? I.. know that he loves you I can see it from the way he protects you, but...I part of me feels like I don't belong, Mina. Oh well, yes?" She sips her water and takes all six of her pills. Pandora despises pills. They don't help.

"I love this painting, Pan. You should really show yourself along with your friends in at least one of them though. It may help you feel a bit better about yourself." Kaminari told her sister before listening intently to her next question. "No, no, no. He loves you just as much as he does me, he took you in and never thought twice about caring for you the same way he cares for me. Would a guy that doesn't truly care for you, put you to the same standards as his sister by blood? I don't think so. He loves us both and cares for us the same. He even makes sure you always have your medicine. I would think that if he didn't care, he'd have you pay for them yourself." She told her sister, she knew that Pandora doubted that someone could love and care for a, once, total stranger just like he did his own sister. He has a large and generous heart though. Hell, he didn't have to even keep Kaminari when his parents split. He refused to be in an orphanage though, he refused to be split from his baby sister. "But, my dear sister, I'm tired from all my shenanigans today, so I believe I'm going to retire for the night." She reached up to click out the lamp above her bed. "G'night sis."

"Have fun tonight with him, by the way." Pandora says closing her journal and rolling over on her side "Just promise me you're safe, it's easy to see you're leaving when you still have your shoes on. Satoshi goes to sleep around midnight, so you may be a few moments late, and one last thing, sister dear, the key is under the mailbox lid, he moved it." Pandora always had a knack for knowing when her sister was hiding something from her, some days it felt like she was inside her sister's mind, which sort of made her feel odd. She hated entering her sister's private life like that, but she genuinely worried for her.

"Damn, how do you always know when I'm gonna go. And who's him exactly." Kaminari got defensive a little too quickly. How did she give herself away though? She didn't think that her and Hayner were all that conspicuous about their planning. "And, thanks Pan, for watching out for me." She softened up, she knew that Pandora worried for her just as she worried for Pan. "I'll make sure to be careful."

"I know it's Hayner too..but I won't say anything, you have my word. You know that I can be in your head sometimes silly, just also be cautious that the neighbor's dog isn't out, you can see him from the hall window, if he is out and about when you come back, take the back alley and use the back door, the key to that door is under the third decorative rock, and mind the closing of everything, you know how lightly he sleeps." She warns her sister, Pandora knows that she can tend to be forgetful of the obstacles.

"Damn, you do seem to wriggle your way into my head from time to time." Kaminari paused listening to her sister's advice. "Alright, thanks sis. I don't know how late I'll be, no need to wait up for me. You know if anything happens, you'll get the details when we're out of Satoshi's earshot." She smiled at her sister. She looked at the clock only about half an hour to go. She was bound and determined to sneak out on time. Whenever it got closer to midnight, she tiptoed halfway down the stairs and found that Satoshi was sleeping on the couch. It looked as though he'd fallen asleep watching TV. She was sure that he was out cold. She wouldn't dare try to go out the creaky front door though. She sneaked quietly back up the stairs and approached the window in their room. She always made sure it was well oiled, just in case she did ever choose to sneak out. Wouldn't want a squeaky window giving her away. She climbed out onto the roof and jumped down off of it, rolling just before she hit the ground so that she didn't blow out her ankles from the landing. She started making her way towards the Sandlot. By this time the town was sleeping and she could just shoot Hayner a text to meet her there. She made sure to step lightly and keep her surroundings under her constant watch.

Hayner was awaiting her at the Sandlot with a new struggle bat and a single rose sitting on a box near by, when he received the text message he replied the he was there awaiting her arrival. He felt small amounts of feelings for Kaminari and wanted tonight to be the night that he told her. he wasn't one for sweet words, but he longed to tell her his feelings. He wanted to wait until the time was right however, that and he was a nervous guy, his emotions were covered by his fake competition and glory seeking ways. As she rounded the corner he pulled out his Struggle bat. "Come to lose, Pansycake?" He called out to her quietly.

Kaminari immediately saw Hayner as she rounded the corner into the Sandlot. She rolled her eyes at his usual nickname for her. "Not in your dreams, jerk!" She said smiling as she walked closer to him. It always put a smile on her face to give him a bit of a hard time. It's not that she didn't like him or anything, she actually sort of had a crush on him. I guess everyone was right, when you like someone you may pick on them instead of just telling them. "Did'ya bring a Struggle bat for me? Or were you just gonna show off your mad skills?" She continued to tease. They had been laying it on thick with each other all day. Except for that half of a moment where he called her Mina while they were sitting around the campfire on the beach earlier.

"You listen here Pansy, I can kick your butt at Struggle any day!" he says smiling, tossing her a bat "Ready yourself"
He gets into his struggle stance waiting for her to strike.

"Oh, alright. But don't think just because you're my friend that I'm gonna take it easy on ya!" Kaminari laughed as he took his fighting stance. She took her Struggle bat into her right hand and assessed his stance to find a weak spot in his defense. Once she thought she had it, she half swung at him, meant to get him to swing and open himself up for a hit.

He swung and hit her bat the jabbed her in the side with the struggle bat "Come on Pansycake, you're slacking!" He taunts her.
They continue to struggle and Kaminari ends up winning. Panting, Hayner shrugs his shoulders in defeat. " I didn't let loose on you because I'm saving up my energy for the real Struggle!" He walks over to the set of boxes and sits down motioning her to sit next to him.

Kaminari is stoked that she won against him. She was actually sort of surprised that it went as quickly as it did. "What do you mean the real Struggle?" She asked him curiously as she went over to him when he motioned for her to join him. She sat down next to him, they were sitting next to a pile of boxes. "So, what's this Struggle you're going on about?" She inquired with no hint of joking or teasing in her voice. She was honestly curious and hated being in suspense. The sooner she had the answer to her question the happier she'd be.

"Well there are two but I was referring to the championships that are later this week." He says as he rubs the back of his neck. Now that she was around it was much harder for him to articulate his words. His hand brushed the rose and he then remembers that he even brought it. "oh, uhm I brought this for you. Think of it as a small prize for winning the Struggle." He hands it to her and nervously looks to his feet. "Ya'know, you have a lot of talents..and you're really good at a lot of things, and uh I find it really cool that a beautiful girl such as you can be great at so many things. Uh I'm blabbering uh.." He trails off kicking his feet and twiddling his thumbs. Why is he acting this way? He just wants to tell her already, he wants to spill his guts and confess that he had been thinking about kissing her for a very long time. Or should he just kiss her anyway? so many thoughts ran through his mind as he shuffled his feet.

Kaminari took the rose as he handed it to her, a little awestruck. What in the world was going on with this boy today? "A beautiful girl like me? Full of talents, and just good at stuff all together? It's not quite like you to be so sweet to me Hayner." She smiled as she smelled the rose. "Thank you for the rose, Hayner. Once you're done rambling, is there anything else you wanted to tell me?" She asked him with a sweet tone in her voice that she's sure he would never have heard directed at him before. She figured the hell with it, he's obviously trying very hard to convey something to her, no need to tease the poor boy on top of it. She wondered what it was that he could have to say. Could it be that he actually likes her, like she does him? What was going to happen? She could hardly wait to find out.
