Her parents split right after she was born and Satoshi was old enough by then to take care of the both of them. He was around ten when this all happened, but everyone in their home town was more than willing to give them a helping hand when they needed it. She knew that Satoshi wasn't really ever interested in asking for help. He did everything he ever could for the two of them. She did the house chores once she was old enough to be left home alone. She knew she was needed there, he was always working to make sure they always had what they needed. She was always so pissed at her parents for leaving them in such a hard situation for years. They ended up taking in her adoptive sister, Pandora, when she was around thirteen. They got along swimmingly, she might as well have been her actual sister. She was way better family than her parents ever were anyways.
