Akira grinned at Derek as they made their way to the middle of the mob that now occupied the dancefloor. She took his one free hand and put it on her hip, then put her hand on his shoulder. Akira wasn't a very good dancer either, but she did her best and just moved to the music. She finished off her margarita and pulled a face, then set the empty glass on a table nearby. She put her other free hand on his other shoulder, moving her hips closer to his. Yes, she was slightly buzzed now. She couldn't help it tho, she was a very cheap drunk. A couple more drinks and she'd be pass out drunk. But right now she was only buzzed. When Akira get's drunk, she gets giggly, giddy, and you guessed it....horny. She moved closer to Derek, shaking her hips nearly into Derek's pelvis. Yes, she seemed quite ho-ish now, but she was partially drunk, so she didn't really give a fuck.

Derek watched as Akira finished off her margerita and put the empty glass on a table, like everyone else did. She looked a little bit happy drunk right now. A.k.a. buzzed. He watched in confusion as she came closer to him, putting her hand on his shoulder and basically started grinding her hips into him. Meh! What the hell? She was definitely a horny buzzed person. He was afraid to see her after a few more drinks. Maybe he should be the D.D. for the night. Yep, you guessed it, the designated driver. He didn't want her driving home and getting hurted. He'd probably lose it if she showed up at the CCU tonight. He really didn't know if he'd be able to even preform surgery on her. He cared for her too much. He wouldn't be able keep his head on straight.
Okay, the song was over, so off the dance floor with him. He led Akira back to the barstools and had her sit down. He didn't want her to fall down. He didn't know how cheap of a drunk she was, but it seemed, at this moment, a very cheap one. He just kinda sat there and drank his Bomb. What now? "So, who's your favorite band?" He asked her. Wow, that was out of the blue. Is that really the most amazing question he could come up with? If it was, he was doomed.

As the song ended, Akira was dragged back over to the bar and sat on one of the barstools. How rude. She asked the bartender for another drink, rum and coke, then turned towards Derek. "Why did you drag me back here?" She slurred, her eyebrows furrowing together as she glared at Derek. "I was having fun." She frowned, handing the bartender her money and taking a large gulp of her drink. "My favorite band? Ummmmmm, Snow Patrol or Avenged Sevenfold. I also like My Chemical Romance and LMFAO." She smiled a drunken smile, taking another gulp of her alcoholic beverage before standing up once again. She was in the mood to dance whether Derek was or not. Outta Your Mind by Lil Jon and LMFAO came through the speakers. Akira squealed happily, turning back towards Derek. "I'm gonna go find someone to dance with cos you obviously don't like dancing. So, byeeeee!" She smiled walking over to the dancefloor once again.

Derek didn't know what to do. Akira looked agitated that he'd drug her back to the barstools. She was definitely buzzed and reaching the border line of being drunk. She answered his question and then continued out on to the dance floor without him. Shit. "Akira, you're drunk." He paused, he wasn't loud enough for bars. "Akira, come back!" He yelled louder than the first time.
He followed her into the crowd of fellow drunken dancers. Shit, where'd she go? Where'd she go? "Akira?!" He asked aloud while he searched frantically through the crowd. Shit, he took a girl out on a date and lost her. Dammit! He wished she wasn't such a cheap drunk. He finally found her near the DJ booth alongside a very tall, muscular, angry looking drunk man. Shit, he wasn't tough enough to take him on physically, but mentally, this guy was already beat. He walked over to him. "Hello, sir, have you checked your drink over there? It seems as if someone is walking away with it." Derek hoped that this guy would fall for it. He did, Derek watched as he went to check on his probably nonexistent drink. "Akira, we gotta go. You're gonna get hurt, or I'm gonna get hurt." He grabbed her hand to lead her out. Then he heard the man's voice from beind him. "Hey, Doc, where's my drink?" Shit shit shit! He hurried them out to the parking lot and to the saftey of his car that he quickly relocked. "Akira, please, please, just go with me. I don't want you to get hurt." He told her sitting there in the car, breathing heavy.

Akira saw Derek walking up to them and all she could think of was 'Shit shit shit!' She turned toward the guy whose name she didn't even know and smiled at him. Derek made it over to them and tricked the guy into walking away, then ended up dragging the drunken Akira out of the bar and into the car. "What the hell man? I was having a good time." She sighed, glaring at Derek. Of course she was secretly happy, but she would never admit it. She realized she still had her drink with her so she took another sip, looking towards the door. It was locked. She had like three seconds to unlock the door and get the hell out of there before Derek realized what was going on and tried to stop her. She looked back her towards Derek and then grabbed the lock on the door, trying to unlock the door but having a lot of trouble with it. Shit, she thought, this was going to be harder then she thought.

Derek saw Akira desperately struggling with the lock on the door. He wasn't even keeping the door locked. It just was. She was just...well...drunk he supposed. "Akira, please, stop." He paused trying to retain his agitation. "Akira, please, just listen. I'm sorry to say it, but you're drunk. I don't want you getting hurt." He told her while trying to hook her seatbelt into the latch. "Now, if you wouldn't mind I'd like to drive you home. There's no way I'm letting you drive tonight." He continued putting the key in the ignition. He backed up and drove out of the parking lot on to the main drag into town.
He didn't know where Akira lived, and she didn't seem like she'd be in the mood to answer. He did what any other self-respecting guy would do. He took her to his apartment building. No, you perves, he wasn't about to take advantage of her while she was like this or at all period. He got out of the car, helped her her out, and led her to the elevator and to his apartment. He sat down with her on the couch, hoping that she wasn't going to be too, too furious with him.

Once the two got to what Akira assumed to be Derek's apartment, she started crying. She was a very emotional person. She would cry when she was mad, or frustrated, or any emotion, really. Just as long as she was reaalllyyy mad, or whatever emotion. She sighed, trying to get herself to calm down, but she just couldn't. She was mad, and embarrassed, upset, and frustrated. She looked away from Derek, wiping the tears that were falling down her face. "What about my car? It's still at the bar." Akira managed to get out through her blubbering voice. She hated crying all the time, but what she hated more then anything was crying in front of other people. It made her feel weak, especially when they laughed at her for her crazy emotions. She tried to calm herself down once again, getting up and pacing. She took deep breaths, trying not to look at Derek, for that would only make her cry more. She stopped pacing and let out a big breath that she had been holding, wiping away any more tears on her face. Akira was very much used to getting out of these kind of situations before on her own. Her mother wasn't around, and her brother didn't care enough to help her, leaving her on her own. But the tears still fell. She sat down, bringing her knees to her chest and wrapping her arms around them. She buried her face into her knees, letting the sobs ricochet through her body, trying to just let it pass.

Derek started to inwardly freak out. He hated when any girl cried. Let alone a girl he liked whom was sobbing, curled up in the fetal position. "Akira, darling, don't worry about your car. We'll go get it tomorrow. Now, what made you so upset that you're crying so much?" He asked her feeling quite out of sorts. None of the girls ever went on a date with him when he was in school. He was too much of a nerd according to all of them. It wasn't his fault that he aspired to be a doctor. To be a doctor you've got to study, study, study. So, becoz of this he never really had much expirence in that whole comforting a girl thing. Especially a crying girl, whom he liked very much.
He walked over to her and wrapped his arm around her back. He began to try to hush her. She was going to cry herself into sickness. "Babe, calm down. What happened in the past, I don't even know how long, that made you so upset? Why are you crying?" He was absent-mindedly stroking his hand through her hair. Just as a hope to calm both her and himself down.

Akira sniffled, resting her head on Derek's shoulder. "Because I'm embarrassed, and frustrated, and upset." She sighed, wiping away each tear that flowed from her eyes. "I'm sorry. My emotions like to freak out and make me cry. It happens a lot." She frowned, closing her eyes. She hated having these stupid, crazy emotions. They practicly ruined here social life.
"You must think I'm pathetic." Akira sighed, looking up at him, eyes opening. "A cheap drunk, sobbing over nothing on your shoulder. Someone you don't even like." This thought of her liking him so much and him not even having a crush on her back hurt her very much, making her cry more.
